Working hard on several plumbing repairs. Leaks a, water pressure, and more!
I arrived at the customer's home to find a water heater with moisture in the base and dripping to the floor. I investigated and discovered a leak on the cold-side supply line, causing water to drip down the tank. The unsupported thermal expansion tank had also failed. The water pressure for the home was only 50 PSI, so the cause of the expansion tank failure and gasket failure on the supply line remains unknown. I discussed concerns and presented options for expansion tank and supply line replacement. The customer chose the bronze option, and I turned off the water and drained the system. I removed the old expansion tank and supply line and re-piped the top of the tank with a new expansion tank mounted to the wall and a new supply line. Performance and safety testing completed. No further work to perform. The customer is interested in potentially increasing their water pressure and replacing the shower in the future. I discussed yearly water heater maintenance, which the customer plans

I repaired a Noritz commercial on-demand hot water heater.
I replaced the expansion tank, re-ran the drain line, and fixed the condesate line.
Customer had a failed sharkbite behind a hose bib. I called the customer to present options and he chose a bronze. We returned with materials to replace the bib and reinforce the piping behind the bib. After completing the job we added a shutoff above the bib for winter drain down, as well as insulation in the wall. Tested for leaks and performance.
I recently completed a job where I noticed that the condensation drip line was not properly aligned with the drain. To fix this, I carefully cut the line back and re-piped it correctly so that it would drip into the drain. To ensure that the lines remained in place, I then used zip ties to securely tie them together. This job was completed to ensure that the HVAC system was functioning correctly and preventing any water damage.
